This is a midlife uprising — and I’m your slightly sweary, proudly sweaty wingwoman.

Once upon a hot flush, I was a corporate good girl turned bone-tired burnout, juggling deadlines, dinner duty, and a body that felt like it had been hijacked by a cranky magpie with a vendetta. So I jumped ship, grabbed a barbell, and started a movement — for women like us. The bold, brilliant, bloated ones.
